Product Options

Aluminum

Aluminum is a type of metal that is widely used in construction and metal fabrication due to its versatility. Some properties of aluminum include low density and therefore low weight, high strength, superior malleability, easy machining, excellent corrosion resistance, and good thermal conductivity. Aluminum is also very easy to recycle.

Initial investments in aluminum products are more expensive than steel or more traditional materials. However, over its life cycle, aluminum has been shown to be extremely cost-efficient. Aluminum roofing can last 50 years or more and is not subject to the corrosion problems of steel. If you install aluminum roofing, there is a very strong chance that you will never need to install a roof again.

Galvanized Steel

Galvanizing is a corrosion protection process for steel or iron, in which the substrate is coated with zinc to prevent it from rusting. The galvanization process entails immersing clean oxide-free iron or steel into molten zinc in order to form a zinc coating that is metallurgically bonded to the iron or steel’s surface.

It can be applied to a wide range of products such as roofing and is also favored as a means of metal construction because of its low cost, ease of application, and comparatively long maintenance-free service life.

Aluzinc

Also known as Zincalume or Galvalume, Aluzinc is a flat carbon steel product coated on both sides with an aluminum-zinc alloy. The coating is composed of aluminum (55%), Zinc (43.4%), and silicon (1.6%), applied by means of a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process.

The excellent corrosion resistance of Aluzinc is a consequence of the properties of its two metallic constituents, making it suitable for manufacturing roofing and roof trusses. The coating properties can vary depending on the user’s specifications. Typically, AZ150 will mean a coating weight (g/m2) of 150 and a coating thickness (um per side) of 20.

Aluzinc is less expensive compared to aluminum, offering excellent corrosion resistance compared to galvanized steel. This material is a perfect balance in terms of cost and quality.

Metal Thickness

One of the important factors when choosing roofing is thickness. Our products are available in different thicknesses, suitable for various types of projects:
